Football API capabilities: a forecast feed with everything a match page needs
Probabilities, goal markets and the form behind them for every upcoming match, delivered as a ready-made card or a JSON match data feed, with extras you can switch on or off at any time.
The core forecast
What every match comes with
The same core for every account, for every competition.
| In every match | What it tells your readers |
|---|---|
| Home, draw and away chances | Who is likely to win, as probabilities that add up to 100%. |
| Over 2.5 goals | The chance of three or more goals in the match. |
| Both teams to score | The chance that each side scores at least once. |
| Goals expected | The average number of goals expected from each team. |
| Confidence level | How much recent data both clubs have, so readers know how far to lean on the numbers. |
| Kick-off and status | The kick-off time and whether the match is scheduled or being played. |
Extras
Add what your readers care about
Each extra can be switched on or off for your account whenever you like. A change reaches your feed and the cards already embedded in your pages straight away.
How both clubs have been playing
The last five results of both clubs, and what each scores and concedes per match, ranked against the rest of its league.
A verdict in plain language
One clear line on how the match looks, with the form behind it: a starting point for every preview.
Injuries and suspensions
Key players who are out, suspended or doubtful, shown next to the forecast. Information only: it never moves a probability.
Honest flags
Provisional matches, newly promoted clubs and thin data are marked, so a reader knows when a forecast is less certain.
The chance of going through
For two-leg European ties, the chance each club advances, not only the result of the next leg.
Delivery
A card for pages, a JSON match data feed for products
Use the ready-made card, build your own design on the API, or use both.
The widget
One iframe on a match page. Light, dark or automatic theme, responsive, with the disclaimer and attribution in place. More about the widget
The JSON API
A versioned JSON match data feed of the next matches for every competition. Find a match by team names or by id, with caching support to keep requests low.
Built for trust
Independent, checked and current
The things a publisher should be able to rely on.
Independent of any bookmaker
Odds are never an input and never shown. A forecast stands on its own.
Checked against the result
Every forecast is stored when it is made and compared with what happened. See the record
Recomputed every morning
Probabilities are refreshed daily, with kick-off times, match status and injury news updated through the day.
